Juan Felipe Restrepo
Director and partner
MSC. In Actuarial Science from Boston University, with MBA studies at the Universidad de los Andes and member No 39 of the Colombian Association of Actuaries. Petroleum Engineer from the National University of Colombia.
He began his career at Suramericana de Seguros, holding positions from actuary analyst to titular actuary, responsible for the development of products in the life, health, automobile and pension lines, among others.
He was director of the Fasecolda Chamber of Life and Health, vice president for the Andean Region at Swiss Re, manager of Actuarial and Life Insurance at Alfa, vice president of Actuarial and Financial Risk at Skandia, today Old Mutual Colombia & Mexico, and since 2010 he directs your actuarial services firm, ACTactuarios.
Camilo Valbuena Sánchez
Head of actuarial projects
MBA graduated with SCL honors from Tecnológico de Monterrey; MSc. In Physics from the University of the Andes; Specialist in Actuarial Studies from the Antonio Nariño University and Bachelor of Physics from the National Pedagogical University.
He has experience in international research in the Geodynamics numerical analysis group at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He has worked as a professor at the University de Los Andes, in the Faculty of Sciences of the Autónoma University of Colombia, Central University and the University of Rosario. He has taught numerical methods courses with emphasis on programming languages: Matlab, C, C++.
Since 2015 he has been part of the ACT Actuaries team, where he works as Project Manager in risk analysis calculations, premiums, contingencies, annuities and mathematical reserves.
Ana Isabel Mejia
Administrative and marketing coordinator
Business Administrator from EAFIT University and specialist in strategic marketing from the College of Higher Administration Studies, with knowledge in brand building and a diploma in Marketing Advertising Communication Management from EAFIT University.
She has extensive experience in the sales and marketing area and began her career as an account executive at Young & Rubicam, in the city of Medellín. Likewise, he has held positions as junior sales representative and senior sales representative at Johnson & Johnson. Since 2016, she has worked as administrative and marketing coordinator at ACTactuarios, in which she has achieved the standardization of accounting and financial processes, thus achieving a reduction in work times by 30%, in addition to the systematization of invoicing within the company.
Vianny Rocío Estrada Contreras
Specialist
Bachelor degree in Physics, graduated from The National University of Colombia and Actuarial Specialist from the Antonio Nariño University. She has a strong scientific background and analytical and problem-solving skills. With great experience in actuarial issues, specializing in the field of data analysis and actuarial models. Vianny has the ability to analyze large data sets, identify patterns and trends, and develop predictive models. Skills to apply advanced statistical and mathematical methods to make informed decisions based on data, providing valuable information for strategic decision making. She joined ACTactuarios in 2021 and has ability to communicate technical results in Spanish and English.
Zully Stephanie Galindo Jiménez
Specialist
Mathematician graduated from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, with solid academic training and a specialized focus on economic analysis. She is currently completing the Master’s program in Economics – PEG at the University of Los Andes. She has solid knowledge in probability theory and game theory, stochastic processes, numerical methods, econometrics, microeconomics and macroeconomics. In addition, she has a good performance in the use and application of programming languages in R and Python
Zully has the skills to approach and interpret complex problems analytically, in addition to having the ability to clearly and accurately communicate mathematical results and economic analysis. The combination of strong quantitative skills and a robust economic approach provides you with a unique and valuable perspective in assessing risks and making informed decisions. She has been part of ACTactuarios since 2023.
Alejandro Chitiva Sánchez
Specialist
Systems expert with 15 years of experience in final user support, network assembly, application development in VBA (MS Excel,MS Access), management, implementation and analysis of databases and training in the MS Office office suite. During the last five years he has provided databases debugging and consolidation services to several companies in the insurance sector, and since 2021 he is part of the ACTactuarios team.

Especialista en Actuaría de la Universidad Antonio Nariño, MSc. en Ciencias Físicas de la Universidad de los Andes. Licenciado en Física de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional.
Cuenta con experiencia en investigación internacional en el grupo de análisis numérico de Geodinámica de la Universidad de Alberta en Edmonton, Canadá. Se ha desempeñado como profesor de cátedra en la Universidad de los Andes en la facultad de Ciencias y ha impartido cursos de métodos numéricos con énfasis en lenguajes de programación: Matlab, C, C++. Desde 2015 hace parte del equipo de ACT Actuarios, donde se desempeña como Jefe de Proyectos en cálculos de análisis de riesgo, primas, contingencias, anualidades y reservas matemáticas. Actualmente cursa estudios de MBA en el Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey.
